THE VALENTINO,DIOR and VERSACE OF AFRICA

So it has been so long since I updated but I can promise you that you wont be disappointed to what I have in store for you. Here are some of my favorite African designers whose works can be compare to some of the well known names in the fashion industry.

David Tlale

This man is like the Dior and Versace combined in one. His designs are so amazing that you can help but loves. He keeps them classy, playful, chic,elegant. I mean what can I say He simply know what a woman needs and he is not afraid to push boundaries to achieve the looks.

David Tlale is a south African based designer who is making a name for himself around the globe with his designs being featured in some of the biggest runways in the world such as The New York Fashion Week and The Mercedes Benz Fashion Week.

This man is so amazing and he definitely knows how to make a girl feel Classy and Fabulous. I just cant bring myself to hate him. I admire his work. I mean who wouldn't right?. He is one of those few African Designers that am willing to say with no shame that they are FIERCE.

Whenever I look at the dress am pretty sure he Had one person in mind and that would be QUEEN BEE. I mean seriously look at the dress simply perfection. Let me not say so much because I just dont want to ruin things. PERFECTION.

I love how he combine african prints and manage to make them look modern and fun.

                                  

This man can make you feel like a goddess with his amazing designs. For anyone wanting to feel and look posh, classy, elegant, David Tlale needs to be on your list and Just so you know he has some fabulous Handbags but am sure will match to your standards. That why I will always say that he is the Versace and Dior of Africa.

Mustafa Hassanali.

I call him the Valentino of Africa and the image below will explain why.

Its how he mixes the African prints and other fabrics to get some of the most beautiful flawless looks there is that fascinate me. This tanzanian based designer has managed to work with some of the well known models bot in africa and all around the world. With big names such as  Naomi Campbell and Millen Magese. He really is on top of his game.

                           

Its the richness in his fabrics and the uniqueness yet simplicity of his designs that makes me say FIERCE FIERCE FIERCE.

There are so many reasons why I love the work of these two designers but I fell in love with the dress below and am not sure if it was the dress or the model or both that made the look one of my favorite thinks that ever walked down any African runways. 

this dress got me saying AMEN to African fashion.

THE MTV MAMA AWARDS AFRICA

Before the awards I really had a urge of writing about the fashion on the red carpet. But now that they have already happened I have completely lost interest. But that is not stopping me from showing you guys what these African celebs wore. As usual some got it write and some well were a little disappointing and others copied styles. So today am going to say less because my list is too long.

  Personally I have mixed emotions about this dress but I totally dig the color.

 Not my favorite look I mean she wore better last year.

Well those are just some of the looks that did hit the red carpet But in general I can tell you guys that. This year's MTV mama awards Men brought their A game to the red carpet and most women seem to divert to the wrong side But in general I would name D'banj as the best dressed male artist on the award show and Pearl Thusi as the best dressed woman for the night.

Lets push African Fashion Forward

FASHION IN THE STREETS OF SEOUL

I know what you are thinking and it has to be something along the line 'this is fierce africa why are they talking about Korean Fashion?' Well the answer is simple I believe that its good to know what the rest of the work wear so s we can be able to know whether what trends in Africa is the same as other parts of the world or not. So why Korea? First I love their music. lol am a huge fun of K-POP and they got some really cool fashion that I think should really get known by the rest of the world.

Korean are daring and playful that what I love most about their fashion. They would wear anything and these people have the ability of making a good clothes look good. In the Seoul Fashion Week Spring Summer this year this is on of the looks that was seen in the streets  and I got give it to these girls Everything looks fabulous from the t-shirt dress to the shoes to the hand bags perfecto. The matchy matchy black and white shorts and those written shirts and the coats got me saying OMG loved them. That extra buggy trouser and the coat I think they represent what Seoul fashion is all about.

The pop of color in their outfit tells us what Koreans are all about. There people love color and are not afraid to dress up and express themselves through their fashion. For instance the brazing hot  mid length shorts and the black crop tops are fabulous. Plus another thing that I couldnt help but notice are the shades. Their love for shades seem to scream out style and urban swag.

I love the two looks I mean who wouldn't. The skirt and the blazer are so chick plus the boots I think even you can pool it off. The jam suit/ overall is soooooo cool I actually really love it. Though that skirt is a must get for everyone.

These babies got style and swag and that's the beauty of Korea. When it comes to fashion, Korean kids are not left behind. These little cuties look so adorable and in style that I couldn't help but talk about them. Just love them.

Lets talk about top divas in black. The look fabulous and this I would say in all languages. The handbags are so goth and I love them. The far coats will always be in season and that's the good thing about them. Otherwise Korean Fashion is extremely good and it keeps evolving every year.

When I hear the word urban Seoul I imagine something like this. Considering that this is summer this look is simply wow. The cool thing about this whole look is the big clutches which are awesome. If you are a girl and you think this whole look is awesome feel free to comment.

LETS TALK BET AWARDS 2015 FASHION.....DAMN!!!!

So the BET awards happened and we saw some really good and really bad fashion and we even saw the copy cats. here are some of the looks that made it to the TO TALK LIST  on my blog. First and fore most is none other than.....

Zendaya....and damn she looks good..I think good is an under statement she looks gorgeous. Starting from the hair to which by the way made me consider cutting mine to that blouse/dress and her beautiful long legs and the shoes made her entire look simply perfection.

Lola Monroe.....This girl got me saying Damn. Everything about her look screams red carpet ready. The dress clinged perfectly on every curve of her beautiful body and the one shoulder plus the neckline seriously what is there not to love about this look. 

I have never thought that I would ever talk about Amber Rose but here she is with Blac Chyna looking as gorgeous as I have ever seen her in the past few years. this duo look absolute stunning from head to toe I LOVE LOVE LOVE their look and the fast that their makeup and accessories was minimal is pure perfection.

Talking about people who have some beautiful legs and are not afraid to show them to the world. Serious speaking not everyone can pull out this look but here thebadgalriri is looking as stunning as ever and that neckline gosh.

Well am a little disappointed by Nicki Minaj's look. the dress was okay but it was just not meant for her even the sleek back hair style made her look really boring. In short it was one of my list favorite outfits of the event.

Karrueche.....for some reason i never really got the name of this girl til today. But hey she is on the Bitch stole my look. This looks almost similar to what Zendaya worn on the BET awaerds last year and better yet The American Music Awards. however she has managed to pull it off but I think she needs to be original next time.

This lady has been in the industry for so long and this look is so wrong for a person who has been there since forever. I had to look twice to decide that I didnt like this look. I get the idea but I dont think this was meant for the red carpet in any way.

I have personally fail to understand the concept of this dress and am a bit disappointed by Kelly's choice of outfit. I have seen her on countless events and she has managed to look absolute fabulous in most of them but this is a NO NO for me Its wrong in every way.

These are some of the few looks that I have managed to talk about. I know they are a lot  of people that I have left out. but feel free to comment on who you think got left out and I should have talked about. plus tell me your best and worst looks of the event.

THE GIRL WHO CAUSED CONTROVERSY AROUND THE GLOBE

Miss universe Japan 2015 Ariana Miyamoto has managed to capture the hearts of many people around the globe. After facing racial discrimination in her own country. she has manage to come on top and is making a revolution in Japan and many other countries that still have the ideology that being black is a sign of inferiority and some probably think its a curse.

with her long posture and her perfect caramel skin. she has managed to inspire many black girl to overcome their fears of being bullied and not fitting in just because they are dark skinned.

This African Japanese girl is not only modern and beautiful but she still keep it humble and doesnt forget her Japanese roots . She keeps it real and she is not afraid to speak out her mind and face anyone who will say she isnt Japanese enough and that my friend is what makes her fierce.

Se is not only good at pageants but also can pause and do the runway like what a good model does. I love everything about the above picture because she is not afraid to embrace the fact that she is a black Japanese and she loves every second of it. simply B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L. and she is following the footsteps of one among the best well known super model Naomi Campbell.

This girl has the ability to make to make a sad day bright just by her smile. this girl has a killer smile and she is simply my new favorite person for the day and who ever does her make up is really good. I just love love love her.

IN THE STREETS OF AFRICA

The fashion industry has been growing rapidly in many streets of African and today i will be featuring different styles that have commonly been circulating in many African streets.

                           

the loose pants are so in this season and they have been circulating around different countries and cities in africa. the good thing about loose pants is they are suitable for people of all sizes. i like them even more because they make your legs look longer and you end up looking slimmer than you really are. This design is fierce and fabulous and am sure it will stay in the streets for sometime.

The stripped skirts are still on this season and for everyone who loves fashion knows that this style has been around since last year. This style is so fancy because it looks good on everyone and the strips come in all sizes and all colors and the skirts come in different shapes plus they are even dresses that can suit your need. Do I love this stripped fashion...... hell yeah, do I think it should continue....... of course. So Africa let keep this style moving.

The growth of this type of skirts has been tremendous since late last year. these skirts are very flattering and very comfortable. I love everything about them and i thing every girl need to have one of these i their wardrobes. this look is amazing and sophisticated and its circulating along many african streets. simply love it.

You cant walk five blocks in any city in Africa without seeing a girl in these. These are what we call high end fashion shoes which have been and will always be in fashion all year long. The good thing about pumps is they come in all colors starting from black, nude, pink,neon the list goes on and they make you look sophisticated and posche. these are a girl must have because they multi functional,beautiful,elegant and in style.

Where I reside almost everyone has not just a handbag but a Michael Kors bag so I came to a conclusion that Michael Kors is like these are the go to bags that each girl must have. There has been a rapid growth of designer handbags all over africa starting from the worlds big and famous designers to the local ones. Handbags are a good accessory that can lift your all look from being dull to a whole new level.

These are some of the few things that are extremely trendy in many African streets although they are not all of them but they are a few that I though fabulous and a girl must have.
